Swim
All participants must keep the buoys on their right at all times.
Duathlon Run Start
Duathletes will complete a beautiful 0.55 mile run on the pier before heading out on the bike course and a 4 mile run along the beach boardwalk upon returning from the bike.
Bike
The cycling portion of the triathlon will take triathletes on a bike along South Roosevelt/US 1 beachside. Short Sprint Racers will do 1 lap of 7 miles, Long Sprint Racers will do 1 mile out + 2 laps of 5 miles + 1 mile back for 12 miles total, and International Distance Racers will do 1 mile out + 4 laps of 5 miles + 1 mile back for 22 miles total.
Run
Triathletes will enjoy an out and back run along the Smather’s Beach Boardwalk. Short Sprint Racers will go to the 1 mile point and back for 2 miles total. Long Sprint Racers will go to the 2 mile point and back for 4 miles total. International Distance Racers will go to the 3 mile point and back for 6 miles total.
